Actress, singer and Broken Arrow native Kristin Chenoweth is telling her story in her memoir “A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love and Faith in Stages,” out this week.
According to the publisher, the book details her journey from Oklahoma beauty queen (she was second runner-up in the Miss Oklahoma pageant) to Broadway leading lady, 1999 Tony Award winner (for playing Sally in a revival of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”) and star of the hit musical “Wicked.”
Chenoweth also starred in the critically acclaimed TV series “Pushing Daisies,” is set to return to TV in the upcoming series “Legally Mad” and will provide the voice of the title character in Disney’s 3D animated “Rapunzel.” It is rumored that she will reprise her role as Glinda in a film version of “Wicked.”
