Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts to appear on TV today

Oklahoma native Carrie Underwood will appear today on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” as part of a country-theme episode that will also feature Sugarland, Kenny Chesney and Darius Rucker. Underwood, fresh off winning Entertainer of the Year at last week’s ACM Awards, will perform her hit “Just a Dream” on the show.
In Oklahoma City, Oprah airs at 4 p.m. on KOCO-5.
Rascal Flatts, which includes Joe Don Rooney of Picher, will appear tonight on the reality TV show “Dancing with the Stars.” The band, which was named ACM vocal group of the year last week, is promoting its new album, “Unstoppable.”
“Dancing with the Stars” airs at 8 p.m. on KOCO-5.
