Friday Featured Track
The song that has been on my mind this week is “Mandolin Man and His Secret” from the Donovan album For Little Ones. My father played this wonderful collection of songs for my sister and I when we were babies. Now that we are adults, we are exposing our own children to it.
For Little Ones is not available by itself but fortunately the entire album is included on the CD A Gift from a Flower to a Garden. All the songs are very soothing, but “Mandolin Man” is the one I sing to my son any time I rock him to sleep.
