The Oak Ridge Boys will appear on a one-hour TV special promoting Oklahoma City-based charity Feed the Children at 6 p.m. today on the Hallmark Channel.

“Americans Feeding Americans” will feature the venerable group singing “Colors,” “American Family,” “Amazing Grace,” “Write Your Name Across My Heart” and “G.I. Joe & Lillie,” according to a news release.

“Our association with the Oak Ridge Boys has been a blessing throughout the years,” said Feed The Children President Larry Jones in a news release. ”Not only are they great entertainers, but they are great ambassadors for hungry children and families all over the world. The message that they bring in this show is one of inspiration and hope, something that America needs right now.”

The program also will include two song selections from Lee Greenwood, music from Phil Vassar and special appearances by Joel and Victoria Osteen and Shaquille O’Neal, according to the release.

The special will feature footage from a Wilmington, Ohio, food drop that aided hundreds of families after the DHL hub closed.
