Norman Music Festival releases updated schedule with more bands

The second annual Norman Music Festival on April 25 will feature about 68 artists on 10 stages in historic downtown Norman.

Festival organizers announced today the event’s schedule and a list of added bands and solo performers, according to Oklahoma Rock Newsblog.

The newly confirmed performers are:

The Lee Boys, Crocodile, The Separation, Early Beat, Penny Hill, Locust Avenue, Mayola, Dead Sea Choir, The Gunship, Mama Sweet, Hush Hush Commotion, The Ike Lamb Band, Gabriel Marshall, Galapagos, Lemma, Here is There, Ford Chastain, John Fullbright, Michael Bendure, The Workweek, Kristen Stehr, Depth and Current, Meredith Meyer, Richard Daddy Love, Susan Herndon, Dorian Small, Rainbows are Free, Proprietors of the Earth, Glowbead, Edgar Cruz, The Lily Guild, Hollywood Homicide, Bungalouski, Sugar Free Allstars, Buffalofitz, Ivan Peña Trio, The Nghiems, Buzz Radio Winner.

Previously announced performers for the festival: Of Montreal, Starlight Mints, Todd Snider, Brandon Jenkins, Camille Harp, Travis Linville, Resident Funk, Blue Turtle Seduction, Black Angels, Man Man, Other Lives, Stardeath and White Dwarfs, Sherree Chamberlain, Student Film, El Paso Hot Button and Tea Leaf Green.

More than 13,000 people attended the inaugural festival in 2008. The event is free and open to all ages. Let’s all start praying for good weather on April 25 right now because if we get a sunny day, it will be an awesome event.
