First “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson releases her new CD “All I Ever Wanted” today. The disc features two tracks written and previously recorded by Oklahoma rock band Aranda.
In the DVDs, I have several recommendations, including the powerful Holocaust drama “The Boy in Striped Pajamas,” the excellent Swedish horror film “Let the Right One In” and the hilarious comedy “Role Models.”
And for those with strong stomachs, investment banker William D. Cohan gives insight into the crash of Bear Stearns, which started the financial meltdown of 2008, in his book “House of Cards.”
