Oklahoma singer-songwriter K.C. Clifford to appear on “The Biggest Loser” Tuesday
Oklahoma City singer-songwriter K.C. Clifford, who recently lost more than 100 pounds, will appear Tuesday night on “The Biggest Loser.”
Clifford and “Raise Your Voice,” a song she wrote and produced as a call to action for people to fight hunger in their local communities, will be featured on reality TV show at 7 p.m. Tuesday on NBC (on KFOR-TV Channel 4 in Oklahoma City and KJRH-TV Channel 2 in Tulsa).
In addition, Clifford participated in Feeding America’s Pound for Pound Challenge and donated 100 pounds of food, a pound for each she lost, to a regional food bank. Feeding America’s Pound for Pound Challenge Web site will also feature her and “Raise Your Voice.”
The song “Raise Your Voice,” is available at www.kcclifford.com.
Clifford has produced three albums, the most recent being “Pockets Full of Hope,” released in February 2008. She is a two-time Woody Guthrie Award Winner and has been featured on NPR’s Assignment Radio.
Heather Warlick, features writer for The Oklahoman and NewsOK, recently wrote a great feature on Clifford and her efforts to lose weight and feed the hungry. Check it out by clicking here.
