Wednesday Video Spotlight: ACM nominations
Country singers Julianne Hough, Kellie Pickler, LeAnn Rimes and Jessica Simpson announced the nominations for the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards live today from the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tenn., on CBS’ “The Early Show.”
The awards show will air live from Las Vegas April 5 on CBS.
Along with the nominations in the musical categories, “Early Show” co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez announced that Rimes would receive the ACM’s Home Depot Humanitarian Award at the show.
Simpson also performed her new single “Pray Out Loud” and talked with Rodriguez about her cross over from pop to country music this morning:
