Christopher Tituts declares love “Evol” on Valentine’s Day

Caustically funny comic Christopher Titus will premiere his latest standup special “Christopher Titus: love is Evol” at 9 p.m. Saturday on Comedy Central.
The DVD and CD versions will be released Feb. 17. Bonus features on the DVD include “Titus Vs. Cupid: Behind-The-Scenes At The Photo Shoot,” “The Fans Speak: Love On The Rocks,” “Countdown To V-Day” and more than 40 minutes of bonus footage that won’t be included in the TV version.
Titus is perhaps best known as the star of the hit but controversial dark-comedy series “Titus,” which was loosely based on his own rocky life. Building off the success of stand-up specials, “Norman Rockwell is Bleeding” and “The 5th Annual End of the World Tour,” “Love is Evol” takes a hilarious and unflinching look at dating, marriage and divorce, according to a news release.
In addition to his experience as a seasoned stand-up veteran, Titus starred in his own Fox TV show “Titus” from 2000-02. He has appeared on TV shows including VH1′s “I Love the 80s,” “Mad TV” and ”The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and was a special guest host on Comedy Central’s stand-up series “Live At Gotham.” In 2004, he wrote, produced and performed his own special “Norman Rockwell is Bleeding” and in 2007, Comedy Central premiered “Christopher Titus: The 5th Annual End Of The World Tour.”
