Catch the final performance of the WinterTales Storytelling Festival at 8 tonight at Stage Center, 400 W Sheridan. Famed storyteller Donald Davis will perform.
A retired minister from North Carolina, Davis has performed as a featured teller at the Smithsonian Institution, the World’s Fair, and festivals and concerts throughout the world.
The performance is geared in length and subject matter for adult audiences.
WinterTales celebrates the ancient art of storytelling. For 28 years, WinterTales has delighted audiences with nationally acclaimed storytellers, workshops and special performances.
After this final performance, WinterTales will be renamed the Oklahoma City Storytelling Festival and moved permanently to the fall. This year, the new festival will be Sept. 11-12 and will include multiple tellers and performers, workshops and family matinees.
