Reckless Kelly postpones Oklahoma City show
Reckless Kelly’s Saturday show at the Wormy Dog Saloon has been postponed because one of the Austin, Texas, band’s members has fallen ill. (UPDATE: This story originally reported incorrectly that one of the members of the band Reckless Kelly was hospitalized due to illness. Although an illness in the band caused the group to postpone its Jan. 24 show at the Wormy Dog Saloon, no one was hospitalized. I apologize for passing on incorrect information. – BAM)
A new date for the show has not been determined, said Carolyn Moon, the Wormy Dog’s office manager.
Goliad, Texas, country band Highspeed Hayride, who was to open for Reckless Kelly, will play solo at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bricktown venue, 311 E Sheridan. Tickets for Saturday’s show have been reduced to $5.
Tickets that have already been purchased online for the Reckless Kelly show will be honored on the rescheduled date, Moon said. Ticketholders should expect a mass e-mail informing them of the new date once it is set.
