Bonus Video Spotlight: Dierks Bentley
Dierks Bentley is one of my favorite country singer-songwriters, so I’m thoroughly enjoying my advance copy of his latest album, “Feel That Fire.” In my phone interview with Bentley last week, he seemed geniunely pleased with the album, which he and his band recorded over two years in four different Nashville studios, and eager to share his new music with fans.
I’m in Los Angeles on a film junket, so unfortunately I won’t be at the BOK Center in Tulsa Saturday when Bentley and Darius Rucker open for Brad Paisley. But I’ve no doubt it will be an amazing show. (Ben Scott is going to cover it for us, so be sure to check NewsOK.com for his review.)
To celebrate Dierks’ music, check out these videos from YouTube. Of particular interest is the first one, which features Bentley and Norwegian singer-songwriter Marit Larsen singing his new song “Beautiful World” at November’s Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway. The album version of “Beautiful World” is a duet between Bentley and Patty Griffin.
I’ve also posted here the video for the title track of Bentley’s new album, which has become his 11th top 10 hit.
