Carrie Underwood to perform at People’s Choice Awards

The People’s Choice Awards organizers say Oklahoma native Carrie Underwood will perform at the 35th annual ceremony, the Associated Press reported today.
The awards show, which will air Jan. 7 on CBS (KWTV-9 in Oklahoma City), will be hosted by Queen Latifah at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The People’s Choice trophies go to fan favorites in TV, movies and music.

Underwood, who hails from Checotah, has won two People’s Choice Awards.
