Friday Featured Track

The song that has been stuck in my brain the most this week:

- “Under Pressure,” 1981 collaboration between Queen and David Bowie.

This is probably my absolute favorite song from both these rock legends. This amazing song is featured on Queen’s 1982 album “Hot Space,” not to mention its role in one of my favorite movies, 1997’s “Grosse Pointe Blank.” It was Queen’s first collaboration with another recording artist, and it’s an inspired combo.

With all the deadlines I’ve faced this week, this song has been my theme even more than usual. It’s been on my mind a lot, and that’s not a bad thing. In fact, I find it rather soothing. See for yourself when you hear and watch the video embedded here from YouTube.

Plus, the exhortation to “give love one more chance” is always good advice.

-BAM
