Podcast: Movies for the Thanksgiving holiday week
Three movies opened today in advance of the Thanksgiving holiday: Director Baz Luhrmann’s epic “Australia,” the holiday comedy “Four Christmases” and the action sequel “Transporter 3.”
Assistant entertainment editor George Lang and I give you the breakdown on these films in this week’s NewsOK entertainment podcast. To hear the thrills and get the chills from it, go to www.newsok.com/multimedia and find it on the A&E podcast player.

“EEEEVVVVEEELLLL, like the Fru-its of the Devil!”
Don’t you love the precious names that people get in movies, that nobody would EVER have in real life. (I’m not counting rock stars, like Sting, because those are not their real names.)
It’s a little known fact that Vince Vaughn comes from a long line of grinches. The sad thing is Peter Billingsley (Ralphie!) is assisting him to kill Christmas.
The only laughs in the comedy are accidental. Nice, George.
“The finger of apathy” has to be wagged…oh wait, never mind. That would violate its nature.
BAM is long-suffering in many ways.
BTW, I’ve heard they are going to make a sequel to “Crank.” Talk about Evil! Also, it may have to be a prequel because of the ending.
Abs are the new black! So says 3D!
