My sharp eyes spied over at the Nashville Gab blog that Carrie Underwood will be among the country stars glittering with borrowed jewels from Johnathon Arndt Gallery of Jewels.

According to a news release, the jeweler is providing more than $70 million in jewelry for the event.

Underwood, the show’s co-host, will apparently account for a big portion of that sum. According to the release, Checotah’s favorite daughter will be wearing one of the world’s largest emerald sets -valued at more than $60 million.

No really. That’s what the release says. See for yourself by clicking here and checking out the release on PR Newswire.

Underwood will also debut The Premier Johnathon Arndt Jeweled Watch Line Collection at the CMA red carpet, show and after party. The Jeweled Watches are valued between $85,000 to $680,000 per watch, according to the release.

At her show last month at Tulsa’s BOK Center, Underwood mentioned that getting to wear beautiful jewelry was one of the advantages to her music career, though she laughingly lamented that she didn’t get to keep them.
