Oklahoma country music star’s new album “That Don’t Make Me A Bad Guy” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart last week, according to a news release.

It is the seventh release of Keith’s career to debut at the top of the charts.

Keith produced the album and wrote or co-wrote every track. The album was advanced by first single “She Never Cried In Front Of Me,” which has already reached No. 1 on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase and Billboard/R&R country singles charts.

Bad Guy’s second single, “God Love Her,” was the most added new record at country radio last week, bursting onto the charts at No. 29 even as “She Never Cried” remains in the top five. The song’s video also entered heavy rotation on both the CMT and GAC cable networks, as well as top online destinations including Yahoo! Music. On “CMT Pure Country,” it has been the top video for two consecutive weeks, becoming the first to debut at No. 1 with only one week of airplay on the digital country music channel.

As the release point outs, the album caps an exciting year for Keith, who topped more than 5 million paid downloads on songs from his recent “35 Biggest Hits” compilation, opened his “Biggest & Baddest Tour” in June, and premiered his second major feature film, “Beer For My Horses” in theaters in August. Along the way, he found time for
yet another frontline United Service Organization tour of Afghanistan and Iraq, and raised more than $700,000 for the Ally’s House charity with his celebrity golf classic.

He also operates Show Dog Nashville, his record label, as well as his I Love This Bar restaurant chain. Forbes named him this year’s best-paid male musician in the world,
with earnings of more than $48 million.
