It’s a colossal weekend for college football in the McDonnell household.

My Oklahoma State University Cowboys, No. 17 on the AP poll with a 5-0 record, play the No. 3 Missouri Tigers at 7 p.m. Saturday in Columbia, Mo. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

Our in-state neighbors, the No. 1-ranked and undefeated University of Oklahoma Sooners will engage the No. 5-ranked University of Texas Longhorns at 11 a.m. Saturday inside the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. The game will be shown on ABC (KOCO-5 in Oklahoma City).

The traditional favorite team of the McDonnell clan, the University of Florida Gators, are No. 11 and unfortunately 4-1 after a narrow loss a couple weeks ago to Ole Miss, are playing at 7 p.m. (Oklahoma time) Saturday at home in the Swamp. The opponent will be the No. 4 LSU Tigers, who are 4-0. The game will be aired on CBS (KWTV-9).
