“Revolutionary Road” trailer online

DreamWorks has released the trailer for its upcoming drama “Revolutionary Road,” directed by Sam Mendes (“American Beauty”).

Based on the novel by Richard Yates, it’s about a young couple in 1950s suburbia trying to find fulfillment amidst conformity. It’s set for December release.

What’s really driving the buzz for this movie is that it reunites Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio for the first time since 1997, when they co-starred in a little movie called “Titanic.”

I’m not sure what I think about the prospects for this movie. The music in the trailer is really overbearing, but I’m not sure if it’s actually part of the film’s score or just some filler music. But it gives the whole trailer a kind of whiny tone.

Feel free to share what you think about the trailer and whether this is a film you’re looking forward to seeing. Right now, I feel pretty “meh” about it.
