Today’s featured event:

TULSA – Hear Hanson, Leon Russell, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, South 40, Mid Life Crisis Band, Rattle and Hum, Crooked X, Little Chair and Uche and the Crash today at QuikTrip’s 50th Anniversary Festival.

The event will be at the River West Festival Park, 2100 S Jackson Street on the west bank of the Arkansas River.

The festival grounds will open at 11 a.m.; the event will end with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

I caught just a bit of Hanson’s set Friday night at the Oklahoma State Fair, and the brothers really sounded great live. They’re definitely worth checking out. You can listen to their music at http://www.myspace.com/hansonmusic.
