Country music trio Rascal Flatts, which includes guitarist Joe Don Rooney of Picher, will travel to New York City Wednesday to appear and perform on “Good Morning America.”

The band, along with tourmate Taylor Swift, also will announce final nominees for the Country Music Association’s 42nd Annual CMA awards during the 7:30 half-hour of the morning show. The live nominations announcement also will be broadcast on “CMT Insider.”

The 42nd Annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live from the Sommet Center in Nashville from 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 12 on ABC.

Rascal Flatts is the reigning CMA vocal group winner since 2003, while Swift is reigning CMA Horizon Award winner.

The band and Swift then will continue on the “Bob That Head” tour, which will stop at Tulsa’s new BOK Center on Sept. 25.
