For their Fourth Friday Poetry Night, the Home for Wayward Poets and Individual Artists of Oklahoma are presenting “Family Act,” a musical book release and open mike poetry event. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday at IAO Gallery, 811 N Broadway.
It will feature poet and author Josh Gaines, author of the new book “Cigarette Sonatas,” and his father, Houston area singer/songwriter/guitarist Ken Gaines, will perform. Poets are encouraged to bring two poems or six minutes of prose or poetry.
