- “Family Act”: For their Fourth Friday Poetry Night, the Home for Wayward Poets and Individual Artists of Oklahoma are presenting “Family Act,” a musical book release and open mike poetry event. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday at IAO Gallery, 811 N Broadway.  

It will feature poet and author Josh Gaines, author of the new book “Cigarette Sonatas,” and his father, Houston area singer/songwriter/guitarist Ken Gaines, will perform. Poets are encouraged to bring two poems or six minutes of prose or poetry.

- “Death Race”: The action-thriller “Death Race” stars Jason Statham, Joan Allen and Ian McShane.

- “The Longshots”: Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst directs and rapper-turned-actor Ice Cube stars in “The Longshots,” based on the true story of the first girl (Keke Pal-mer) to play in a Pop Warner football tournament.

- “Hamlet 2″: A high school drama teacher (Steve Coogan) creates a musical sequel to Shakespeare’s famed drama.

- “Bottle Shock”: Based on the true story of the early days of California wine-making, including the now-infamous, blind Paris winetasting of 1976 that has come to be known as “Judgment of Paris”.

- “The House Bunny”: A Playboy Bunny who is kicked out of the mansion (Anna Faris) becomes the house mother for a group of sorority girls in “The House Bunny.”

- “The Rocker”: A failed drummer (Rainn Wilson) gets a second chance at stardom when he joins his nephew’s (Josh Gad) garage band. (Opened Wednesday)
