Get well wishes to Morgan Freeman
As you probably read on NewsOK or elsewhere, beloved actor Morgan Freeman was injured Sunday night in a car accident in Mississippi.
The Associated Press is reporting that the star of “Shawshank Redemption,” “Million Dollar Baby” and current releases “Wanted” and “The Dark Knight” is “in good spirits” after undergoing surgery Monday night.
The about 4 1/2-hour operation was to reconnect nerves and repair damage to his left arm and hand, according to the AP.
I also read over at Nerdage, blog home of my excellent colleague Matt Price, that Variety has listed an address where fans and can send get-well cards to the actor. This address is for cards only, no gifts or flowers, please.
