New releases
Talented singer-songwriter Samantha Crain, 21, of Shawnee, gets her first national release today with her EP “The Confiscation.” The ”musical novella,” released on Ramseur Records, takes full advantage of Crain’s haunting voice and literate writing style.
If you need a reminder of the rave review I gave the disc a couple weeks ago, click here.
The rest of the CDs dropping this week range from Sugarland to Nine Inch Nails to Miley Cyrus. Quite a bit of variety there.
On the DVD side, several TV series and specials hit the shelf today, from the antics of “Robot Chicken” to the real-life thrills of “Shark Week.”
James Patterson – who apparently writes novels faster than the rest of us microwave canned soup – has another book out this week if you’re looking for some summer reading.
Here are this week’s new releases from Amazon.com, VideoETA.com and BarnesandNoble.com.
