Walls of sound at Mainsite
NORMAN - Mainsite Contemporary Art will offer the next installment in its White Walls Series of improvised sound performances at 8 p.m. Saturday at the gallery, 122 E Main.
“Sound artist” Jon Mooneyham will create Saturday’s performance. The event is free and open to the public.
According to a news release, “White Walls Series is an exploration of sound with no reference to any stylistic sign posts like tempo or genre.” The series focuses on improvising and freely playing music. The shows are created in the moment and therefore can’t be reproduced.
