Jazz great Wynton Marsalis and country legend Willie Nelson collaborate on a collection of jazz standards and blues songs on the new album “Two Men with the Blues.”
This comes just a few weeks after former basketball star/current bass guitarist Wayman Tisdale released his new album “Rebound,” which includes a surprisingly great cover of Barry White’s ”Never Gonna Give You Up” with country star Toby Keith.
As Dr. Peter Venkmen might say, “Dogs and cats living together – mass hysteria!”
Who knows what wild pairing of the jazz/blues and country worlds will come next?
