Reba and Vince help welcome Hall of Famers

Tom T. Hall and the Statler Brothers were formally inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame with a musical tribute last Sunday night, according to the Associated Press.

They joined this year’s two other inductees, Emmylou Harris and Ernest “Pop” Stoneman, who were formally inducted in April.

Oklahoma natives and pals Reba McEntire and Vince Gill, who are supporters of the hall, participated inSunday’s event.

Bobby Bare, Heather Berry & Tony Mabe and Michelle Nixon saluted Hall, while McEntire, Daily & Vincent and Grandstaff honored the Statler Brothers.

Gill, his wife Amy Grant and the Jordanaires performed the traditional opening hymn at Sunday’s ceremony.

Hall and the Statlers performed during the ceremony, too.

TV and radio personality Ralph Emery presented Hall with his medal, while Brenda Lee did the honors for Statler Brothers.
