What to do in Oklahoma on June 8

Today’s featured event:

Today’s your last chance to see the clowns, acrobats, human cannonballs, trained animals, comic daredevil Bello Nock and more at the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. (I don’t know if they ever let anyone follow that proverbial whim to run away and join the circus, but if they do, it’s your last chance to do that, too.)

The final Oklahoma City performance of the 137th edition of the circus, dubbed “Bellobration,” will be at 3 p.m. today at the Ford Center, 100 W Reno.

One hour before showtime, audiences can go to the All Access Pre-show and learn circus skills, meet performers and see the animals. Ninety minutes before showtime, ticket holders can visit the Animal Open House at Cox Convention Center.

For tickets/information, call 235-8288 or go to http://www.okfordcenter.com/.
