The song that has been on my brain the most this week:
- “Long Trip Alone,” Dierks Bentley, the title track from his 2006 album.
With all the preparations this week for my Academy of Country Music Award’s live-blog on Sunday, I’ve had country music rolling through my melon all week. I’m particularly fond of this poignant song about looking for the right person to spend your life with. Plus, Dierks Bentley happens to be one of the most personable people I’ve ever interviewed, so that only makes me like the song more.
Even if you’re not a country music fan, this song is worth checking out.
