Carrie Photostamps still available
The special edition Photostamps of the six past “American Idol” winners, including Checotah’s Carrie Underwood, are still available for purchase at www.photostamps.com.
Photostamps are actual postage that can be bought and used for mailing, but these “American Idol” versions are designed to be collectors items.
The limited-edition “American Idol” Photostamps are one of the fundraisers for the “Idol Gives Back” charity efforts.
Past “Idol” winners Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, Underwood, Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks are featured on Photostamps available now. The soon-to-be selected Season 7 winner - either Tulsan David Cook or Utah native David Archuleta – will be featured on his own stamp after next week’s finale.
Only 2,000 Photostamps per state are available for each “Idol” winner. A sheet of 20 costs $19.99. A donation of $10 is given to “Idol Gives Back” for each purchase, according to a news release.
