Upcoming live-blog: The ACM Awards
Check out BAM’s Blog this Sunday, when I will be live-blogging the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The awards are airing live at 7 p.m. Sunday from Las Vegas on CBS.
Oklahoma nominees include Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn and Reba McEntire.
In addition, Garth Brooks will receive the inaugural Crystal Milestone Award, and Rascal Flatts will receive the annual humanitarian award.
Most of the Oklahoma nominees/honorees also will perform during the show, and McEntire will host the awards program for the 10th time.
Voting is still open online at www.voteacm.com or www.cbs.com for the entertainer of the year category. Nominees are Rascal Flatts (which includes guitarist Joe Don Rooney of Picher), Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and George Strait.
