Be that as it may, I cringe at the shoehorning of American actors/actresses into roles requiring an "English" accent- see the utter debacle of Costner in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Granted, some people have the chops to pull it off- or at least sufficently attentive language coaches so that they don't sound like they're from Cornwall by way of Philadelphia.
