Goosebumps

The first teaser trailer for the looong-awaited “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” debuted today on “Good Morning America.” It’s available to view online at IndianaJones.com and Yahoo! Movies and also is appearing in movie theaters today. (Just another incentive to take your sweetie to the movies for Valentine’s Day.)

My hubbie and I watched it together on GMA this morning. Our reactions were similar: goosebumps! I didn’t think I could want to see this movie any more, but I definitely do now.

The trailer did a great job of alluding to the past three movies, while still giving a glimpse of the new film, which has been mostly shrouded in secrecy. It shows that Harrison Ford still has what it takes to handle the action scenes, even though he’s pushing 66. As expected, Shia LaBeouf looks to make a terrific wisecracking sidekick.

Plus, Cate Blanchett’s jet-black ‘do now qualifies as the second-scariest thing about the franchise, right after the evil cult priest who rips out people’s hearts in “Temple of Doom.”

Great job! This was my first visit to any blog. Glad you were my first. Your sense of humor really comes out in the Valentine suggestions. Love and kisses, Mom

Between this and Iron Man, the two best trailers I’ve seen this year, it looks like May will be the big movie month this year!
