I have a problem with not seeing gray. I see black and white. Things are simpler when there are rules, right? I guess not always. Within the past couple years I’ve had to learn to say what I need to without hurting feelings. This isn’t always an easy task… especially when I know, what appears to be, the right choice. I’ve noticed if I word what I believe is correct with an ease and openness it goes over better. Huh, so think before I say something… there’s a revelation! Is this manipulation? Or is this just working well with others? Another big key I’ve learned is ridiculously elementary, but it seems to have benefits… listen to others. Really listen to others, they might just have some good insight, something I might not have considered. So the moral of the story… say what feels right in my gut nicely, while still considering what others have to say.
