A little girl in North Carolina was fishing with the pink rod when she handed it over to her grandfather while she went to the bathroom and all the sudden there was something tugging on the rod. Her grandfather then reeled in the state record channel catfish! It weighted 21 pounds, 1 ounce and was pulled in on a 6-pound test line. It was also 32 inches long, 2 inches longer than the rod. Barbie is one strong gal, go Barbie!
