Overdue
A book checked out in 1947 has been returned to a Tulsa high school. Well it’s about time! The book, New Word Analysis: Or School Etymology of English Derivative Words, was mailed to the school with a $250 check. The school doesn’t have specific overdue fines, so they say the money will probably go to a scholarship fund. The feeling-guilty party says she wanted to include the money because she values the education she got at the school. Too bad that the “New Word Analysis” book isn’t so new anymore. After all this, let’s hope they don’t toss it!
