Big Boom
An asteroid as large as a football field is on course to hit Mars… well about a 4 percent chance to crash into the Red Planet. Researchers at NASA are routing for the collision. What?! Um yeah, I think we should hope it doesn’t come near our part of the solar system because if it could plow into Mars, I think it could just as easily smash into us. (You know Earth is next to Mars.) NASA officials claim the asteroid poses no threat to Earth, but can they really predict what an asteroid speeding in space at 27,900 mph is going to do? Perhaps they can, and trust me I hope they’re right! 
Burglary Santa Style
Those Australian burglars… gotta love them! A guy in Sydney figured out a great way to break into a place around the holidays. He entered like good ol’ Saint Nick. Workers at the Gapview Hotel heard the man moaning when they arrived for work the next morning. Firefighters spent an hour and a half trying to free the trapped criminal. Word is the man was lodged in there as if in a cocoon for 10 hours. Too bad he wasn’t as pretty as a butterfly when he came out!
