Living in IKEA

capt7fd58917b81b4134b7c158d77b1f0c86living_in_ikea_njmd102.jpg A home away from home… you might think I’m talking about a nice hotel, but nope, I’m referring to the mega furniture store IKEA. Comedian and filmmaker Mark Malkoff is calling a suburban New Jersey IKEA home for a week. His New York City apartment is being fumigated for cockroaches. I’ve heard of all kinds of unique living situations from renting out a couch to making a single bedroom into 2 by separating the room with a sheet hanging in the middle. This almost takes the cake though (of course there have been folks who’ve lived in Wal-Mart). Oh what people will do for publicity! Interestingly his wife chose not to make the store home and is staying with relatives in upstate New York. Just have to say, I don’t blame her. Good luck Mark and IKEA! :P
