A Circumcised Example
If you’re looking for a good example – a southern African radio correspondent seems to be willing to take one for the team. Recently the Lancet medical journal did a study that found circumcision could reduce men’s chances of getting AIDS. So Kennedy Gondwe did what any responsible man would do and had the excruciating procedure done. The kicker is… he did this with radio and web audiences listening in. He received tons of text messages and cell phone calls – obviously some from offended listeners and readers… hmm, I just can’t imagine why they’d be upset!
