Your son will be fine. Have faith that our military has been well trained for all situations that they may encounter. Keep sending the boxes! It keeps them going. I was at Cop Lowell from the very beginin when we took over from 10th mountain. Spc Lowell was great friend and fellow paratrooper.We took over the Cop from 10th mountain when it was just the hard builings, a triple strand concertina wire barrier, and hlz still used as for farming by the local landowner. Like 6/4 we endured indirect, rpg and sniper fire during those hot summer months. The winter was most welcomed with a change of scenery and a chance to improve living conditions. Cop Lowell was my home for nearly 15 months, and i will never forget it not the mention kamu, mirdesh, sahret koleh. make to to keep maintaining those east and west op's. You are already aware of what it takes to run Kamu. Keep firing at those trp's especially around the Northface. Hope you all make it back home and do a good rip with the new guys when the time comes.
